Founded in 1914, the Atlanta Writers Club (AWC)…
…teaches the craft and business of writing, supports the local literary community, and encourages more reading by the public.
Our Membership: AWC serves all who are interested in writing, from well-published authors to those aspiring to write for the first time. In addition, we offer the Atlanta Self-Publishing Conference annually for authors who are interested in self-publishing or who have self-published and want to get the most out of their publishing business. In 2020, the AWC collaborated with SFK Press and 32 Georgia authors—from the esteemed (including our late friend and mentor Terry Kay, who contributed his final published work before his passing) to some AWC members getting their first chance at publication—to produce an anthology of original short stories, memoir, essays, poems, and more that commemorate and memorialize our experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Viral Literature: Alone Together in Georgia is a time capsule, a memorial, and a celebration of what unites us.
Membership in the Atlanta Writers Club is $60 for 365 days, but we also offer family discounts, student discounts, autorenewal options, a discounted five-year membership, and a discounted lifetime membership. SEE YOUR OPTIONS>>
